About me
Hi! I'm Piper. Ive been doing tattoos for 20 years now. Growing up I was always a artist making things around the house and drawing pictures. After high school I went to The International Academy of Design in Tampa Florida. While I was there I studied Graphic Design, Commercial Arts and Video Production with a focus on Digital Painting. I wanted to work on films and animations, however when I was in school all my projects kind of had a tattoo style theme to them. I loved tattoos, I wanted to do tattoos but back then a female tattoo artist was rare. Until I walked into Pleaseures of the Flesh and met a amazing female tattoo artist that I got tattooed by. I came home that summer from school with some drawings and more tattoos I wanted to get. When I went back to the shop I talked to the owner and he said he would apprentice me. So I packed it up and was done with school and stayed in Fort Myers to begin my Journey. I've got to learn form a ton of amazing artists on my way up and work in some amazing shops. I opened my shop Art & Soul Tattoo an Gallery in 2007 and worked hard to build one of the best shops in town with a reputation for award winning tattoos. In 2019 I sold my shop to my sister in law (keeping it in the family) so i can focus on my art more. Thru the years other then tattooing i always worked on my paintings and have done many gallery shows. Along the way I connected with a few friends from high school in the Comic world and began my career as a Comic artist specializing in Variant covers and cover design for Scout Comics. I also work on freelance projects as well for other publishers and companies. So please feel free to contact me if your interested in a tattoo or some comic art and I will be happy to help you out! I look forward to working with you!
Hi! I'm Piper, I'm From Fort Myers Florida. I Specialize in doing comic cover art. I attended The international Academy of Design in Tampa over 25 years ago where I studied Digital Art and Video Production. After that I ended up getting offered a tattoo apprenticeship and became a tattoo artist for 22 years. During that time I still did my original art work and showed in many art galleries. I have always specialized in portraits and realism in my work. I currently own a tattoo shop that I have owned for 12 years and have stepped down from tattooing to concentrate on comics. I hooked up with a old friend from high school where he invited me down to his place Scout Comics. He had seen me art and wanted me to do a cover for him and so I did. Tart was the first title I did for Scout Comics. From there it took off and I started doing many more Scout Covers. I currently steadly do work for Counter Point Comics, Mount Olympus Comics, Scout and many others
